WHO WE ARE

FR Art Academy is a creative fine arts company based in Charlotte, NC. We offer a variety of art programs tailored to young children preteen, and teen audiences. Through partnerships with local non-profit organizations, charter schools, private schools and individuals-  we seek to provide high quality and meaningful art experiences that contribute to the positive development of youth.  In FR Art Academy workshops students are encouraged to think critically, express openly, and explore the world around them using art as their tool.

OUR FOUNDER

Faith Rivers
Artist. Educator. Advocate for Arts Education.

Faith brings over a decade of art experience to FR Art Academy. With former roles  as an educator and professional artist, she brings both a light heart and a wealth of knowledge to the classroom. Faith's high energy keeps young children attentive and engaged. Her sensitivity to the emotional challenges of adolescence, allow her preteen and teen pupils to offer their trust and cooperation. Alongside a passion for art that began for her in grade school, Faith's good intention alone lays a foundation for success as she sets out to craft  positive experiences  for the youth in her community.
