OUR PROGRAMS
FR Art Academy formed as an initiative to create positive and high quality art experiences for youth. Classes are offered to families that can afford them and through partnerships with select nonprofit agencies- classes are also made available to youth whose families cannot afford the per class tuition.

KICK START ART!

Kick Start Art is a school based fine art program designed for kindergarten classes. It introduces primary art concepts and encourages the development of essential skills. Lessons incorporate problem solving, team work, and language building while inspiring children to be confident and innovative.


ART ANGELS

Art Angels is exclusively designed for non-profits that provide housing for children  experiencing homelessness, awaiting adoption, or anticipating foster home placement. In this partnership- FR Art Academy offers enrichment programming that is therapeutic in nature to assist in the temporary relief of stresses caused by uncertain living conditions.


​STUDIO SATURDAY

Studio Saturday is a series of expressive art sessions for young artists ages 7 to 16.  Youth participate in a variety of fine art activities while engaged in discussions that encourage exploration of self and the world around them. The program provides structured enrichment for young participants. For preteens and teens specifically, it serves as a consistent creative space to connect, collaborate, and reflect as they seek understanding and peace in the sometimes puzzling period of adolescence.


​Freestyle sessions

FR Art Academy Freestyle Sessions are the perfect opportunity for discovery.
From works of art in watercolor to mixed media masterpieces, these creative sessions introduce young artists to the variety fine art has to offer. Classes are held once or twice a month in a positive, clean, and safe environment.
